My Role
I was responsible for the visual and interface design of the TV8 Apple TV application.
My work focused on translating TV8’s content experience into a clean, large-screen interface while following Apple TV design standards, navigation patterns, and usability expectations.

Design Approach

The main challenge was designing an interface that worked naturally on a television screen, where users interact from a distance and navigate with a remote instead of touch or mouse input.
I focused on simple screen structures, strong visual hierarchy, readable typography, and content layouts that could be scanned quickly from the sofa.

Designing for Apple TV Standards

Since this was an Apple TV application, the design needed to respect platform-specific expectations such as focus-based navigation, clear content cards, generous spacing, and readable layouts for larger screens.
The goal was to make the experience feel native to Apple TV rather than simply adapting a mobile or web interface to a television screen.

Selected Screens

These screens show the main visual direction, content browsing structure, and TV-friendly interface patterns created for the TV8 Apple TV experience.

The result was a polished Apple TV interface concept for TV8 that brought the channel’s digital content into a more premium, living room-focused experience.
The design created a clearer way to browse content, watch programs, and interact with TV8 in a large-screen environment.
